Travel Tips 101:
Choosing Where to Stay
Most destinations have a varied choice of Accommodations to fit every budget
and need. Take a close look at your plans and your travel companions. What may
have been right for your friends may not be right for you.

$100 night and up, depending on class, number of bedrooms, and
location |

Security may not be present |
When comparing hotel rates, look at what amenities they offer. Do they have a
pool? A children's playground? Ample parking? Security personnel on premises? Is
breakfast included? What is the tax rate on the room? Are there any hidden
charges such as housekeeping or utility fees?
When checking out condos or timeshares, check the above but pay close
attention to amenities and security. Is the location central to where you want
to be? What type of deposit is required? What supplies are you to provide?
Who is traveling with you? If you have small kids, a single hotel room may
not be for you. But there are big changes in the hotel industry. You can get
rooms now with full kitchen facilities and separate bedrooms. Check all your
options before making your final decision. You are the one who will have to lie
in the bed you choose.
